Whats New At Metro...

Gershwin Theatre In The Loop!

Yet another Nederlander theatre is now "In The Loop"! Metro Sound Pros has been able to accomplish what no other company in the US has ever before. "Installing a Hearing Loop that covers the entire seating area of a theatre especially with live instruments being located so closely is the first of its kind" stated Leo Garrison.

The Gershwin opened in 1972 with 1,900 seats, and is one of the Nederlander Organization's nine Broadway theatres in NY. The Gershwin Theatre was named in honor of one of America's greatest composers, George Gershwin. Metro Sound Pros is proud to be the installer of this amazing technology in one of the most amazing theatres in America.

Richard Rodgers Theatre In The Loop!

Metro Sound Pros is proud to be the A/V company of choice to install a full Induction Loop system in a Broadway theater. This installation which is first of its kind is a monumental advancement in expanding Hearing Loop technology. Now anyone with a hearing impairment can enjoy the production of Romeo & Juliet and not miss a single word.

"This is a very special addition to our theater and we are excited to be the first to offer this technology. The feedback and e-mails from visitors who have used the system is amazing." said Bill Register of The Nederlander Organization. He continued to say " Working with Metro Sound Pros has been by far the best experience. They have worked around the insane schedule of the production and finished ahead of the proposed timelines."

Intrepid Air & Space Museum

The Space Shuttle Has Landed! The newly reopened Space Shuttle Pavilion showcases the space shuttle Enterprise, the prototype NASA orbiter that paved the way for the space shuttle program. Seventeen dynamic exhibit zones feature original artifacts, photographs, audio, and films that immerse visitors in the science and history of Enterprise and the space shuttle era.

Metro Sound Pros installed an extensive Audio, Video, Automation, and Assistive Listening system. A Crestron system along with products from Renkus Heinz, BiAmp, Sharp, Listen Technologies, and many more immerse you in the Space Shuttle Enterprise experience. TMZ and Metro Sound Pros!

Metro Sound Pros has been chosen as TMZ's A/V installation company for their new TMZ New York Tour. We have developed and are implementing a custom tour guide system that provides Audio, Video, Assistive Listening to 3 separate Tour Buses.

“It’s like a Broadway show, only way safer than ‘Spider-Man ( Turn off the Dark,). The tour takes place on a custom-designed, 52-passenger bus with a state-of-the-art audio/video system, and is hosted by carefully cast, hysterical TMZ tour guides" said attorney-turned-TMZ mastermind, Harvey Levin.

The videos will be created by the makers of the TMZ TV show and Levin promises that the tour will “be different than anything else out there.”
